This is a Front End Alignment Fixture I fabricated to align for toe-in / toe-out. The fixture adjusts for various vehicle widths. 1st you set the steering wheel or handlebars straight, 2nd place the fixture toward the front of the tire rim edge and lock the setting screw with the wingnuts on both right & left sides so that it is just touching the rim. 3rd you turn and slide the fixture under the vehicle and stand it back up so that it lines up with the back half of the rim. Depending on the amount of toe the vehicle manufacture recommends you know have a reference to work from. The Fixture is made up from 1" galvanized electrical EMT pipe sliding into 1" galvanized fence pipe. A couple pieces of flat steel stock welded on keep it upright. The larger tubing is cut with diagonal slots and a hose clamp to lock the width within approx. 3" less than the wheel width. The wing bolts are 1/4-20 x 2.5" long on each side tapped and screwed into a 1/8" thick 1" x 3" 90 degree bent steel flat stock. All non-galvanized steel is just painted silver for rust prevention. The total cost to make was less than $20 and a couple hours of labor, Good Luck!
