No one but TrippleThreat knows on here that April 17th that I had a MAJOR accident on my Burgman scooter. A car in the slow lane had its front tire delamanate and it flew over a Honda Accord and then hit my front wheel causing a tank slapper and I hit the guardrail at 70 MPH. For the first 3 days I have little memories but I spent 7 days in hospital ICU. I have 9 broken ribs with 6 of them mutable breaks, broken left shoulder, major brain concussion, punctured left lung with chest tube drain, lots of road rash. You would look at my gear and say "When is the funeral?". Not too many spots on my helmut that is not scuffed/gashed. My armored riding jacket is shredded from the middle of my back up thru the left shoulder and all the way down the left sleeve. My kevlar Draggon jeans are shredded. I did not have armored jeans but the kevlar did help some. My boots and gloves are not destroyed, just minor scuffing. My bike is fine on the right side but the left has lost almost all the plastics and the center stand is ground down about 1/2 inch as is my left ThrottleMeister bar end weight. Enough on this, not trying to get sympathy from ya all, just letting ya all know WHY I need help.

No one stopped and no witness's so it is a single vehicle accident. I had liability coverage so they will not be paying me for damages or gear.

I am needing to figure out a good commuter vehicle that can go in the HOV lane with 1 person, ie a motorcycle. For a power plant I have two Burgman 650's and 1 GL1100 Goldwing to pick from. I have a complete 97 Corvette C4 front end. So I need to know what is the cheapest and easiest Trike plans/kit. I will need to sit inside the c0ckpit in a chair type seat and will need to be simi inclosed with a steering wheel.

I am CAD illiterate so what I need is paper copies of plans that can be downloaded and printed. If you can help me out, thanks.

Weren't you looking into the ECO EXO?" How come not that? You probably are as aware of the possibilities as anybody else on site. The C4 front end is a great start, but I can think on no production frame or plan to work with it, though I'm not saying there is none. Just my opinion, there is no quick solution.

The ECO EXO will work with a swingarm mounted engine like most scooters but to hang a normal frame mounted type motorcycle engine and long swing arm would upset the ackerman angles and other things. Plus its $4,900 plus shipping and the time for the kit to be made in England, shipping time, clearing customs.....

The Burgman 650 scooter is a motorcycle in a scooter body. My engine is frame mounted up between my heels, the E-CVT trans is under the knees and then it has a gear type swingarm. All mounted down low. The two pistons wristpins are below the front wheels axle level and the 4 gallon fuel tank is 3 inches below the seat. 54 HP from 638cc is not a lot but has good gearing to get moving quick.

I am not stuck using the C4 frontend. I just have it and the C4 rearend too. Plans years ago was a EXO car like an ArielAtom. I could just use the control arms, spindels and brakes and use a coilover spring.

I am looking at making a Indycycle/Sportcycle as it is a simple design except the front swing single shock setup. Plans are $75. Just looking to see if anyone has a set of unused plans for cheap too.

Sorry to hear of your accident ...
The Goldwing that you have could be used in the Xzilarator and it is enclosed with a windshield. We plan to add a small pair of ducts too to put some heat into the cabin. Also the entry is easy. Since you ride in the cooler weather the design may work out for you.
Plans were $125 however they are pretty good with some pictures too. The design is simple with no bending.
Depending on what you pay for the bike the cost to build it can be pretty low too.
