There has not been any admin support in weeks it seems. I will not be back on for a while till they take care of that newest member that is spamming Porn.

Upon further investigation the last time jim99 logged in was Jul 28 2012. He's gone. Srx was last here nov 18 this year. Are there any other moderators/administrators?

Hey, at least the Admin should appoint another Moderator/Admin. It take not much time for this forum to read all new posts. As a Moderator you must devote time every day, sometime up to 5 times a day to read EVERY post. On a some sites there are 100's of new posts per hour so there must be many moderators just to keep up. And a Moderator is a thankless un-paid job.
I would throw my helmet in the ring to be a temporary Admin. I do not want this forum to go in the trashcan, as it is doing so far.

Hi All,
Curvecutter here. I just got a personal e-mail from Dave J. asking for help with the porn problem. I believe It's gone and the member is banned.
I haven't been on this Forum for over a year, but I still am listed as an administrator. I will be happy to take care of problems like this for you. I don't monitor this site, so please e-mail me again of there is a problem. I will watch the site for awhile to make sure I got rid of this crap.

No doubt the site the would benefit from more attentive, responsive administrators. It is a thankless job though, and I'm sure that's the reason for the neglect. What can be done about it? I'd support any of you regular contributors to replace the present staff, but I wouldn't be up to it. Why don't people step down and open it up for others if they are not interested?

I am not an administrator, just a moderator with very limited access to the controls of this forum. I wish I could do more for you folks, but my hands are tied. I would gladly appoint someone to head this group if I could. I can't even delete these jerks who are spamming us.

Moderator Jim B has removed most of the bad posts. He also has tried to contact "Pro Boards" to see if they will appoint a new set of Admin/Moderators.
That said, I still would volunteer to step in for one of the jobs. Anyone else? I think 1 Administrator and 1 or 2 Moderators should be able to handle a forum this size.

Does anyone have the site owners PM, Email or Text/cell address? Moderator Jim B got a reply from "Pro Boards" that if we can not get the site owner to respond, we can live with the limitations of no admin support, or, start a new forum and let this one die. I do not want the years of info on here to die. This forum is very slow, maybe 5 post on its busiest day. But there are years of posts filled with some good topics.
So again, to the site owner, I volunteer to act as an Administrator in a fair and timely manner. Send me a PM!!!

I have looked into making another member the admin for this site. Unfortunately 3verse(creator of this site)did not properly setup the forum. The result of that is i cannot change much of anything dealing with moderators, or admins. What we have is all we can get for now. I asked Proboards for help setting the forum up and they told me to start a new forum. By doing that i cannot use this forums name for the new forum. Other names that are close to this forums name have already been reserved.
I will continue studing the support forum to try finding workarounds for the problems with this forum. That is the only help proboards offers.
