What a great idea. Have other people tried to set land speed records with RTs?

Thanks 3verse,yes they have , the largest LSR group is the SCTA in the USA they race at Bonneville and El mirage dry lake ,they do not recognise reverse trikes or any trike as an elegible vehicle , but the international body that oversees motorcycle sport does ,they have a seperate class classified under (cyclecar) but since 1979 only 2 records have been attempted, the highest being the flying mile @ 245.760 KPH ( 154 mph) . In Australia we have a LSR club (DLRA) our club also recognises these unique vehicles ,though we call them cyclecars ,it is down here that I plan on greatly increasing that world record ,as a side note the FIM require that a passenger go along for the ride as well any volunteers ? cheers
