A guy on my scooter forum picked up one of the 300cc reverse trike scooters, loves it but he says that when he is riding on a straight line and lets off the gas then applies the brake the rear wheel will feel like it is moving side to side, kind of like the tire went flat. I was wondering if it was from the nose going down and lifting the rear wheel a bit. Any ideas? You can see one like what he bought here. www.superiorpowersports.com/300cc_Gas_3_Wheeler_Trike_Scooter_p/sn300trk-tkb.htm

I would look at the engine/drivetrain mounts. A chinese spyder replica i was looking at did the same thing. It had rubber mounts at the front of the engine(to lower some of the vibration) and i think there was enough play to cause the engine/tranny to wobble side to side slightly. On a scooter you wouldn't notice it (because of only 2 wheels), but when the front end is stiff enough to not move much, it would be noticeable.
