It depends on How much you think the finished trike will weigh. Finding something light enough may be one of the biggest problems for trike builders. Was for me.

I am hoping it will be no heavier than 1350 lbs when completed.
I am leaning towards a Mustang II front caliper and Disc brake set up with coilovers and I noticed there are drilled and slotted rotors available on Ebay for the Mustang II.
They also have manual rack and pinion steering kits including the ball joints so it will probably be the simplest way to go.
I have the project in the build section under Bandit build. Weight is a concern but I am not expecting to go from 0-60 in 5-6 seconds since the stock bike weighs 450 and only does it in 4.5.

Looking at your frame, the Mustang stuff would seem appropriately scaled. You're going gangbusters, it took me months to complete mine but I was doing a lot of " Design as you go ." I sat my seat and the engine on a table and began building around them. Oh. I did make a model out of coat hanger wire, but it was only a loose concept. How'd you get your dimensions? Its obvious you started with a detailed plan......no?

I actually don't have plans.
I did as you with a little scale model but I sat down with a ruler on some blank paper and I started out with the lower sub frame main member. I figured every inch would be a foot so every 1/4 inch would be 4 inches and a half inch would be 6 inches so I figured I wanted the frame in the front to have a 3 foot spread from outside to outside so once my swingarms and tirs are on I will have an approx 6 foot front width overall. By my calculations the project will be about 10 1/2 foot long where the back tire is on the ground which should give it good stability.
I too built a little scale model out of 1/2 inch wood square stock and used hangers to simulate the frame. Once I got the botom done on the actual project I just started running with it and doing my own angles and bends as I went. I have a picture of the trike I am trying to build so at least I have something to go from as I fab it up.
I worked abnother 3 hours on it today after work so I am steadily making progress.
