Hi,

I don't have a trike, I have been dreaming one up in my head for quite a while and hope to start building one eventually.

I like the old Morgan style trike and am leaning towards that. My problem is time, money and facility. One of these days I need to build a shop so I can have a place to start a big project like this.

I've spent a lot of time today looking over most of the forum. You have some really good stuff here.

My idea for a power train would be to have a 883cc Harley motor tied to a drive shaft from a gold wing(or similar motorcycle). I was thinking about a chain drive to the shaft going back to the rear tire, the shaft would need a bearing to go through in the front for stability. I like the Harley because it has a pretty high mpg rating and I think it would have enough power for what I would need. I'm really bad at mechanical drawing or I'd post a picture of my idea.
