Question, When you sit in the seat of a side by side RT what keeps the driver side from dipping down while riding if alone and no passenger? On a normal Honda 3 wheeler where you are siotting is more or less over the axle of the 2 rear tires. I am concerned about the width of mine at 5 feet where I'll be sitting. Granted I'll be sitting approx 1-2 feet left from the center line so I guess this is where center of gravity makes a huge difference.

pulled in a few favors today and got my car tire mounted on my motorcycle rim. A friend of mine let me use his motorcycle tire manual mounting machine and balancer. Most tire shops will FREAK out when you tell them that you want to put a car tire on a motorcycle rim. Most tire shops will not even have the right equipment. I found a cool shop that helped me find the right size tire and then they had to order it. As far as they were concerned, I was just buying a tire. I will tell you that this was really fun. Getting the old tire off was easy. The below pic was the point that it got tricky The pic you are not seeing is me jumping up and down on the tire while the rim was in the machine, while my buddy was working the tire over the edge of the rim. Setting the bead was terrible. I literally had to bring the tire up to 80 PSI to seat the bead correctly. it was kinda scary. It makes a really loud SNAP when it seats. Old tire and new Balancing the tire IT FITS!, IT FITS!

If I am reading this right.............from a website.
YAMAHA XVZ 13 TDS (86-93) ("Venture, Royale") Front Rim Size: 2.50x18 Rear Rim Size: 3.00x16
Recommended Front Tire: K491 Elite II, size MR90B18, 36 PSI Recommended Rear Tire: K491 Elite II, size MU90B16, 40 PSI
OE Replacement Front Tire: F11, size M120/90-18, 36 PSI OE Replacement Rear Tire: K627 , size M140/90-16, 40 PSI
Optional Front Tire: K591 , size 120/70B17, 34 PSI Optional Rear Tire: K591 , size 150/80B16, 40 PSI Recommended Front Tire: ME880, size 120/90-18 Recommended Rear Tire: ME880, size 140/90-16
Is your rear rim 16 X 3 inches wide?
If so then I would think that might be something like a 115/55/R16
Am I close?

Sounds good.
Glad to see you are making some more progress.
It's been quiet on here lately. Pretty much only 2-3 regulars posting.
I got the front coil springs done on my project and the front suspension looks pretty good. I'll probably add a sway bar to it as well.
The steering wheel came in today and I should be recieving my rack and pinion as well as the steerinbg column before the end of next week.
The springs on my shocks had to be tightened up quite a bit to stiffen up the front and I still feel it may be a little too weak so I might have to order some heavier duty springs. They were really designed for a 4 wheeler but I got the stiffest springs I could get in them hoping they would be enough. Adding a sway bar might make it just right.
My tires and rims should also be in this week so we shall see. Then I'll be posting more pics of the progress.
I would imagine you are ready to get out and ride yours. I still have a long way to go with mine yet but it's getting there.
Good luck on the run.

Now that i am in body desgn phase, i am amazed how much i scrutinize other automobiles. It is all about body lines and continuity of shape.

That's great news! You should slap her together and take her for a well-deserved blat around the block.
Just out of curiosity, do you plan to run the stock Mustang II lower swing arms? The rod that bolts to the lower control arm and another point on the frame?
