Hi everyone, my name is Mick, I am from Staffordshire in the UK and I have just stared my first reverse trike project. I have been interested in them for years, first reading about the Badsey Bullet in a Kit car mag years ago. Over the years some projects have caught my eye, Triking built a lightweight special version, tuned Guzzi engine, low to the ground, very traditional looking but went like the clappers. This is what I want, traditional looks with super bike power. I have done a few custom projects over the years, built a lowcost chassis and suspension, Ducati 900ss injection, retro fitted with earlier carby bodywork, latest is my Triumph Daytona 955i cafe racer, this may be the bike used to power my RT? In the UK, if you keep the existing frame, engine and transmission in unmodified form, you do not need it to go through the tough UK approval system. Anyway, now for something a little different! Starting with the front, I want a kind of hotrod look so I have made a beam axle and am thinking of a transverse leaf spring, this will be located via 4 leading arms, triangulated, 2 running parallel with the body, 2 from the uprights(these are MG TF) to the body. The chassis is going to be a marine ply monocoque, double skinned and foam injected at the sides and ,under the seat. I have built a 1 to 8th scale model, very, very ridgid. Attachment Deleted
