I picked this up today. I saw it several years ago and talked to the owner. He was trying to sell it and wanted $600. It was too much for me because it is not the way I would like to build a trike. He called me out of the blue last Wednesday and asked if I still was interested in the trike. I waffled and he said it was mine if I would just come and get it. It is a 1982 kawasaki 750 twin that was wrecked in 1983 with 1180 miles on it. I don't think the trike was driven much after it was built. Should be a good power plant. The front suspension is Fiat, I believe. Traverse leaf spring, disc brakes and 4X98mm bolt pattern. Not sure if I'll keep the front end. It is compact but the bushings are shot. Don't know if I can get them. I have to clean it up and see what I have.

Put the seat back on the motorcycle part and you have a two seater!
Free is great, now you can make it what you want.

I am pretty sure I am going to build Michael Plogue's design. I picked up a VW front end today.

Scored at the swap meet. Centerline wheel for the rear of the trike. My buddy, who went with me, said he thought he had a pair of centerlines at home. Turned out he had some convo pros that will be great for the front. I wanted a centerline for a couple of reasons. You can polish front and back and they don't look ugly from either side. The biggest reason is is has a flat mounting surface front and rear. I can make a swing arm and the hub that can sandwich the wheel between it to put the sprocket on one side and brake disc on the other.

Steel was delivered last stop of the day, just after 5. If I hadn't called 5X's, I probably wouldn't have gotten it. Did spend all day laying out the bulk heads on plywood and made the base. No pictues yet, nothing to see.

Hi strechmobileski, welcome on board. As it looks this will be a new building thread. What do you think about to start a new thread at " Build Projekts". I think it would be easier to find your building at the right place in the forum. Good luck for your projekt and show us a lot of pics. Greetings from Germany Ralf
