Hello. I've seen a ton of cool rts in here, but was wondering if anyone has built a xzilarator kit bike? reversetrike.com/xzilarator.html. If so do u have anything you would have done differently?

I have never built it. Though it is quite simple really, more like a go-cart.
I just love the ultralight in the last pic. It sort of looks home made

I have a set of plans for the Xzilarator. I do like that the design is as compact as possible and made with straight tubing. Personally i would take my time and use a tubing bender from harbor freight to make bent tubes which would look better. www.harborfreight.com/garage-shop/pipe-benders/12-ton-hydraulic-pipe-bender-32888.html Since i am a old f art i will probably not build this because my knees makes it very hard for me to climb in and out of it. I am tending to building a more upright sitting trike with doors in it. I keep gathering parts and materials plus tools till i do finally build something. I can ask bob kinney ( Xzilarator designer) if i can take excerpts from his plans to post on the forum here if someone might need some info. www.xzilarator.com/xzilarator.phpSRX660

If u could post a parts list that would be great. Then I could start collecting parts.
Thiswill be my first build of this kind.

I bought one of those tubing benders from harbor freight to use on my trike, and it creased, or kinked every time. I could not get a bend out of it. I returned it the next day. Keep your receipt.

You will then need to buy this bender. www.jd2.com/p-32-model-3-bender.aspxPerhaps because i have a torch set and used it to help the bending process i was able to use the harbor freight tool. I probably spent just as much money on gas and oxy as the JD tool costs so it may be easier with the JD bender. SRX660
