I found RT fairly recently and hope my more grounded in reality ideas can flurish here with some input from some fellow enthusiasts. I'm basically attempting to build an electric reverse trike and hope to incorporate a generator to extend the range somewhat. I have a windmill motor that can produce 10 amps at 55 volts at a fairly low rpm. I want to construct a recumbent style rt that would be mated to a etek style electric motor that would chain drive the rear wheel. I have four 12v deep cycle optimas to deliver power through a motor controller but will also cause the biggest weight issue. My biggest problem is I have no idea how to set up the steering or the suspension. I hope you all can forgive my lack of mechanical skills. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

That's pretty cool. Thanks for the info. It looks like a racer. I'm not sure how that would translate with one rear wheel though. Is there any info on the awesome looking trike that is actually used for the wallpaper on this site? Is there a body kit or anything for that sweet ride? I've not seen that anywhere else and I've been trolling for design ideas for quite a while now.

You would place Thunder-Sky LiFe batteries, in a row, on the right side of the middle box section and mount the rear single-sided swingarm on the rear end of the box section. Regards, John |
