I didn't know there was a reverse trike forum, I have wanted to build one for about 10 years now. I recently took inventory of leftover parts from other projects and decided to get on with it. I dont have a full vision for what I will have in the end but for my first build it will definatatley have a post apocoliptic madmax feel to it. I am not building for performance or style - just something to putt around in with the stuff I have on hand. I have a 91 olds quad4 w 5 speed for a perfomance oriented trike in the future but for right now I am using whats left of me 81 Ford Courier. It will be an asymetrical reverse trike - no decisions about possible bodywork at this point. I have already narrowed and shortednd the frame and cut down the rear axle. I look forward to learning and sharing

Welcome to the forum. There are several reverse trike forums on the internet and most are a lot more active than this one. I go to all the forums listed in my favorites and some have had no activity in two months or more. The JZR forum and Three Wheel Replicas forum are the most active from what I can tell. Do some searches and you will find lots of info.

Welcome to the forum. It seem that most RT builders are busy building instead of reading and writing on the forums. I hope to change that somewhat by offering as much possible information as i possibly can. Sort of a Locost type of forum but for Reverse trikes. I am working on a links page that i have started that i hope to have every type of information on building, where to get tools, what parts you can buy, and builders sites. I personally am gathering parts for my own build but have not decided if i want FWD or RWD. There are pros and cons for both so i=m still deciding. I already have a Kawasaki Eliminator 900 bike for a RWD RT so i will probably end up going that route. But i am also looking around for a older Subaru thinking it would be a easy FWD trike and still have a low overall height to the front hood. I am thinking something along the lines of the Blackjack Avion type . So, welcome and post any questions and ideas you have. I hope everyone here will help you with their knowledge. SRX660
