I have now installed a image size reducer plug-in on this forum. It affects all pictures put on this forum. What it does is make the picture 400 pixels wide and matches the height of your picture to the 400 width. By clicking on the picture a original size picture opens up. We are doing this so the posters here will start posting smaller pictures for people to see. i had a similar plug-in years ago but it seemed to have disappeared. The 1 MB and larger pictures are killing how many pic's we can have on the site, so we need to conserve. DaveJ and I are also reducing the size of some of the pictures on our own. i have been putting them on my imgsafe website and linking the small picture to the larger ones. With Img safe we cah have very large pic's if some people want to see details. We try to inform(message) the poster of what we are doing. Some never reply so we have very little feedback on doing this.
I do ask everyone that wants people to see large pictures of their work to start using Imgsafe to post their pictures. This reduces the load on our forum. It also lets you have a backup on the internet so you do not lose your pictures if your home computer up and dies. It can happen because i have lost a lot of pictures over the years. I even double backup every picture i have to DVD's and store them at home. I try to backup pics from this forum when i think the pictures can be useful to everyone.
We really need to update this forum, throwout the threads that show very little, or lost the pictures, or are not having info related to reverse trikes. Lets all do everything we can to make this the most informative website on what kinds of RT there are, how to build them ,and all the little details needed to even try building your own trike. I am still surprised about how much more complicated it is to build a street full size Reverse trike, compared to the little off-road go carts and miniRT's i have built in the past. I would like every person who want to build one to have every piece of info he need to get it done. I include putting in the boo-boo's because that may let you not make the same mistakes other have done.
I thank Everyone for joining us her, contributing and making this one of the best RT forums on the net. I see us on Pinterest quite often now and that is because of the people who come and give what they have learned here.

Here is a pic of the treebee trike(1) that is 2495 by 1795. the size of the picture is 625Kb. The second picture(2) i reduced the size to 858 x 600 pixels and the Kb of this one is 541. Reducing still further to 600 x 419 makes the Kb size down to 285. I know everyone would like to have large very sharp and detailed pictures, but we will have to stop posting any pic's if we don't get the sizes as small as possible since we already have hit the limit and some cannot post pictures of their vision of what a RT is. The smallest pic(3) is 8 x smaller in KB and about 1/2 the size of the (2) picture. Click on the picture's for the real sizes.
WEll, Doing these picture's has shown me a glitch in Imgsafe. I don't know why but each picture reacts differently when you click them They are all 600 wide but when you click them, first one opens fine, second is fine, but the third you have to right click to open it.
I have reduced the pictures again down to 400 pixels widths and that solved the problem of right clicking.
So far Image Shack is doing well for me. 10 albums and about 100 pictures. I have 1000's i could put up but i'm afraid Image shack will want more money.
Thank You
