Purchased a Rockville 10" 200 watt RMS Sub-woofer for my Can Am Spyder. All of the sub-woofers I've seen on these trikes are mounted in the front trunk, but you lose all the use for storage. After analyzing the area behind the seat I designed an integrated speaker box that the Rockville sub could drop into. This involved a heavy mig welded duty frame structure with rubber isolation damping mounts to prevent any bass resonate frequencies of distortion from emanating through the structure.

I added a structural support to the speaker box to mount the existing back rest along with a decorative accent plastic panel to help blend the esthetics of the design. Then I added LED Tail Light and a Spyder emblem to complete the design. I wired in a two power switches; one for the primary amp with front speakers and the second for the sub amp. Also added volume knob to the custom dash cluster to balance bass to primary frequencies. I am running dual batteries with an A/B switch and volt meter to keep battery drain in check.
