I just found this forum. I've been working on my cycle car for about 5 years now, mostly during the winter as I drive it in whatever state is in during the summer months. I should have everything painted before the end of February. Thanks for looking!

Cool looking trike, please tell us more about it and like to see chassis build pic's! It's powered by an fz6 Yamaha. Frame is mostly 2" square. 065" wall tubing that I TIG welded together. I designed everything in Solidworks, including the front suspension and bodywork. Here are a few pics showing the chassis. I update Instagram quite regularly with build updates.

Are the seats comfortable? Not that I have a lot of room to talk, mine only has 1/2" of foam anyway, but I am a fan of seats that are built into the chassis like this. Your build looks good, maybe a little overkill on the tubing sizes but hey weight isn't really a concern and who wants to wonder if their chassis is gonna fold in half hitting a speed bump Any trouble getting in and out? -Andrew

Hey, welcome! That looks very good! I like what you've done for the bodywork.
I can't quite tell from the pics but it doesn't look like you are using the original frame from the donor bike (and hence have a VIN already.) In which case, have you contacted the State Patrol yet regarding registration? I had a very nice chat with our local inspector about a month ago that really set my mind at ease. I'm in the Madison area so contacted the field office in DeForest. Your regional office would probably be the one in Fond du Lac. Would love to see more process pics!
