I received an PM from a new member asking if he was in the wrong place if he wanted to post a build of a human powered trike. My answer is NO, he is in the right place. Then I thought, "WE DON'T HAVE A FORUM BOARD FOR THAT". Now we do.
Any trike that can be powered by hand cranks, foot pedals or any combo of a body part that can propel a trike should be welcome.
A three wheel "Wheel chair". A hand crank for a wounded veteran like what "Wounded Warriors" take groups for rides.
Lets hear it.

I would welcome any human powered trike builders on our forum because they have to really look at their designs and make them as light as possible because their power source is even more limited than ours! if we get a bit overweight (our trikes i mean, not personally so to speak) we get a bigger motor thats not an option on a human powdered trike

If i was building a human powered trike I would like to explore the idea of a very lightweight one piece GRP monocoque seat/chassis all in one even trying to incorporate flex and spring in it to make the suspension
I would like to do it for a motorized RT but I dont think it would be strong enough, or if you made it strong it would probably be to heavy. especially compared to tubular steel.
