I am not trying to elicit sympathy here. Just that I will be in hospital for testing and maybe some procedures real soon. My 2015 scooter crash had done a lot of damage to my left side, shoulder, chest, heart and lung. Also a small aortic aneurysm on the lower right center. Pain levels are about a 6-7 on a scale of 10 at times. Nitroglycerin tab's help some but not enough. Does not look like any open chest surgeries, so far. Testing will tell. Last time I was in this hospital they allowed me only 2 hours per day of computer time.
Just waiting on the call from my Cardo doc's office for the scheduled days. I spent most of yesterday in our local ER testing with no firm reports or causes, same crap, different day.
This forum is SO EASY to manage compared to a few others I visit. So if you all continue to play nice everything will sort itself. Like said, PM and wait for me to check in.
Getting OLD sucks!

Well, an update, kind of. The Cardio Doctor thinks all my pain is from the accident and not my heart due to the enzyme Troponin tests being normal. The doctor that has done all my muscle and rib exams thinks its my heart causing pain issues. All I know is the pain starts right below my left nipple and radiates up into my left shoulder. When it is at the max level, 20mg of Nitroglycerin helps for about 1/2 hour each time. The rule is, after two dose's of Nitro, as you are taking the 3rd tab you should be en-route to the ER. It goes between a mild ache 90% of the time to a scale of 7 on a 10 scale. Two of my left side ribs have not knitted back together and click/crunch at times but these are not where the pain is stemming from that I know. The Cardo doc said I am not going in for more testing, YET. With all exray's and blood tests being within normal ranges they do not want to spend the money to test farther. He is saying that I need to keep active but limit my lifting and pulling with my chest and back muscles. ?
