Hello all of you, I came along your forum and thought well I will become a member. The trike I have is a Le Patron kitcar, the most Le Patrons are 4 wheelers but there is a select group in Netherland driving a Le Patron trike.

Hello Patron.
Good looking trike. Can you tell us more about construction and drivetrain? I think I am seeing boxer twin there, but not a BMW?

Looks like a Citroen 602cc front wheel drive. I really like your trike. Reminds me of the Lomax trike.

Yes, this is the lomax trike with the Citroen 2CV FWD drivetrain. I like the front end styling on this one. srx660

I went to the Le Patrone web site and am really impressed with their product. The gel coat looks first class and the overall quality appears to be excellent. It looks to be an upgraded version of the Lomax. If I were in the market for another reverse trike, the Le Patrone would be high on my list.

I just googled Le Patron kit cars and found a whole page of different links to the car. Even Wiki Pedia and Pinterest had info on the kit. Enjoy your reading.

Thank you all for your replys. It is a Le Patron kitcar based on the Citroen 2cv, indeed an upgrade of the Lomax, the donor Citroen 2cv is also used by the Lomax. The Le Patron is made in the Netherlands, the Lomax is a Englisch kitcar. The website for le patron is www.lepatron.nl It has front wheel traction. I looked what the meaning was for "Reverse Trike" I first thought is was rear traction, but later I thought it is 2 wheels at the front and 1 at the rear, but I am still not sure. So wondering if I am alowed at your forum. Facebook page: www.facebook.com/lepatron.nl/ here the most are 4 wheelers, but some 3 wheelers. On Pinterest nl.pinterest.com/lepatronophemer/le-patron/ just started with pinterest a few weeks ago. I hope you like these pages.

Yes, a "reverse trike" is generally accepted to be a trike with 2 front 1 rear wheel regardless of which end gets the power. You need not be an owner of one to be welcome on the forum. Mostly, we just share a common interest in reverse trikes. Many are here just to get some information on how to get started on a build.

@patron. It has been a real pleasure viewing all the photos you have provided. Thank you very much. I was familiar with the Lomax and almost bought one a few years ago, but did not know of the Le Patron. Your car seems to offer a much improved version of the Lomax and I wish I could afford another reverse trike, because the Le Patron would be what I would buy. For now, I will just have to continue enjoying my Honda powered JZR.

May be with a turbo?

Hello Patron. No turbo on my Honda, but it is a CX650. The Lomax I almost bought a few years ago had a Moto Guzzi 750 and it was right hand drive like my JZR.
