Years ago i found a picture of a neat BMW 3 cylinder radial engine. I thought it was in a trike but could not find any other pictures to say it was. I have now found the trike so here it is. Built in England by a company that built more than just a few trikes known as the Tarkus. Anyone notice that it's FWD. SRX660

What time period were these produced in? The suspension looks modern, but nothing else does.

The blog post was made in 2007. From what he wrote the trike had been built a few years earlier. He was talking about a common problem with the flat twins had that was the oil getting into the cylinders because of their downward slope. They wer trying to figure a way to fix it although they said it just smoked a bit on startup.

Cool engine! Is it for a plane? Nope. Just three BMW motorcycle cylinders mated to a custom made crankcase and custom crankshaft.
