Weather was perfect yesterday and I had nothing pressing so I went for a ride. Pops is located just outside the small town of Arcadia, on Rt66 not far from OKC. Its about 90 miles from my house via the roundabout route I took maximizing use of 66 from Stroud to Arcadia. Including about an hour and a half on site eating a burger and fries and visiting with inquisitive locals and tourists, it was a very pleasant 1/2 day spent. Caution: Cranky old man on board. The next photos are taken off the net, better than mine. 'Pops" claims over 600 varieties of soda on the premise. There are about 100' of these displays on both the north and south glass exposures, just for visual effect. Stuff for sale is in coolers and shelves inside. son and I on an earlier visit For scale reference the color shifting pop bottle is (what else) 66ft high.

Wow, they really cleaned the place up. If you're ever through Tulsa or Broken Arrow, I'd love to get a good look at your ride.

Love to show it to you. Was there a problem at Pops? Been there several times over the past few years and it was clean at those times.

Love to show it to you. Was there a problem at Pops? Been there several times over the past few years and it was clean at those times. My mistake, I thought that was that McDonalds on 44 towards Joplin. Got them mixed up in my head. I'll have to locate and try out pops. Never been there.
