Have been doing a bunch of looking around but have found little info on quality RT kits. I am looking for a quality tube frame side by side RT.

That first link Ralf gives is very interesting. IF I were just starting out , knowing what I know now, this is the way I'd go. Much more compact and appealing than the T-rex type, they have a Texas based distributor too. In addition to the R1 based trike ,they also offer a 4wheel Ariel Atom type that is equally appealing. Anybody wanna buy mine? I'm gettin the build fever again. Blackjackzero? Ugg.

Mmmmm. Sounds comfy. I grabbed a set of Sparco seats off CL for next to nothing. I needed that extra comfort. I looked at those fiberglass race seats before and decided that my tushy was worth the extra money.

I will probably go with some JDM seats off ebay. Black PVC with red stiching or possibly the black pvc with white stripes. Haven't quite decided. They are about 350.00 a pair but for the comfort will be worth it. I haven't cut any corners yet really so might as well not start now............LOL

A update for the RTR trike. It seems the website has disappeared. The only thing i have found is the Utube video for the trike. Too bad as it did look pretty good. SRX660 www.youtube.com/watch?v=QGOszFoA5ls

SRX660 www.youtube.com/watch?v=QGOszFoA5lsThat is a nice kit. Too bad it is "Disco'ed" In my viewing of the vid, only three bent tubes, the roll-over crash bar and then two near the swingarm. All other "Bends" are cut and welded angles. A builder can order those bent tubes from a chassis builder anywhere around a race track. Out-board front shocks is OLD SCHOOL now days. The Lotus 7 look is always a seller.

The reason you can not find RTR is they went in to administration and then re opened as Exo sports cars to be honest I dont know what happened and the reasons behind it but I dont think any customers lost out here is a link to the new website www.exosportscars.co.uk/ I have actual seen that Tr1ke in the video it came up for sale about 6 miles away from me, for about 10K I think and that video was used to sell it on ebay but I saw it a month or so later when I was at a local bike show with the 2rike and was speaking to its new owner it is really tidy well put together as you can see in the video. Its a small world!!!

OK, MEV still makes it and the US distribator is Dove Racing. I did not put tr1ke together as SVE-t R1ke. I have an aquantce that just bought a kit from Dove Racing in Texas. They can also put Suzuki GSXR13 mounts on it for a fee. www.doveracing.net/cars/sve-tr1ke

Out-board front shocks is OLD SCHOOL now days. For sure inboard is sexy, but outboard is simpler, lighter, and cheaper.
