The changes I made should not adversly affect the drivability at all. The Goemetry is exactly the same as a Mustang II.

Some more work on the suspension this weekend. I started out by beefing up the pivot point of the rocker. I chose a 3/4 heim joint. In doing that, I had to of course drill a 3/4 in hole in the rocker arms I made. I decided that instead of building new rockers, I would weld a 3/4 inch washer to the existing rocker. I was actually glad I did this, because it made the rockers really really strong.  I decided to use the stock lower suspension arms. Yes, they are a little heavy, but these were in really good shape. I ordered new lower ball joints which have not come in yet.  I needed to weld in a piece to fasten the smaller heim joint to that is part of the suspension linkage. I wanted this to be in the stock location where the original shock mounted.     again, these will get new lower ball joints and black powdercoat. |

I am in Southern Oregon. I have been slowly collecting bits and pieces for my planned trike. So far I have a Honda 450 and a sub frame from a small econobox. Unfortunately I didn't take enough bits from the econobox and am looking for more parts.
Your build is looking really good.
