Just found this today. I am trying to setup a interview so i can take detailed pictures of the build and of the son who built it for his dad. It was a 67th birthday gift from the son. It is a Bede Jet plane body with a honda 50 scooter drivetrain, and a honda quad front suspension( i think). More to come later. SRX660

I was the builder on this Bedehonda, Built in Ft Myers Florida. If you look at the earlier images you will see my van with florida plates and my company name in rear window. I don't know who said they built it for their father but I built it for experiment in high mileage transportation. If you need any info contact me vongraph@comcast.net

Those look like golf cart tires? which is what I was going to use on mine till it dawned on me that they are for grass and about 7 MPH, so I looked up trailer tires in that size, they work great and DOT approved.

Original Mini Coopers had 10" wheels and tires. They made racing and sport tires and wheels for them . Minilights and Panasports come to mind. You can still get them and they would be the right size. Rated for high speed and handling.

Trailer tires are not the way to go if high performance is needed. I ordered a set of Falken 165/70 10 FK07Es out of England years ago when putting my trike together. Rated to 130, but not DOT. Later found Yokohama A008s in that size available from MINISPORT USA. DOT approved, also used to be available in 185 60. Not sure now. 63 bucks each.. By the way the Falkens have 6K on them with no appreciable wear. At this rate the tread should last till they are stone or I am dust.

Terry, I thought I saw this on on eBay years ago. It had a Helix 250 drivetrain.

you can also see the original body work that has been replaced, It has square tube frame and the wheels were Honda 250 racing wheels with ten inch trailer tires rated at 100mph, It would acctually go faster than that but steering was very tight over about eighty.
