This is my method to post, to a thread, a picture i want everyone to see and be able to enlarge it to be able to see details, from my Pinterest website. First thing is to have a Pinterest account to be able to post the pictures you want on the thread. Then you post your pictures, in the order you want, to your pinterest board. Once you have your pictures on the board you can copy the pin URL and paste it underneath the text you have typed in explaining the picture. I prefer to hit the enter key twice before posting the picture URL so the picture doesn't interfere with the text. You can keep doing this for every picture you post and they will stack up in a line you can scroll down to view. To post to your thread, in your Browser, you will have 2 tabs open. On the main tab will be the forum thread where you are posting the picture, and the second tab will be the Pinterest board where you have your pictures posted to. You can copy the URL from Pinterest and then open the forum page and paste the URL to your post Now, to copy the pin URL, you click on the picture to bring it up by itself. In the top line, above the picture, you will click on the 3 dots and then click on the "embed" button to open a new window. Where it says Pin URL you will highlight the URL(turns blue) and then hit the ctrl(hold)key and c key. This copys the URL to your clipboard on the computer. OK, Now you will open the forum thread(1st tab), Type in any text you want to explain the picture, then click enter a couple of times to give room between the text and the picture, then click on the ctrl(hold)key and v key to paste the URL to your thread. You need to do this for each picture you want to post to your thread(it will take some time to do for all of them). Once done with all your pictures and text you want to type, create thread, and you should see all the pictures in their glory. Remember that the website makes thumbnails of the pictures to fit the forum page. They can be clicked to open in a second window, full size. Post Note - i will be making changes to this thread as the good members of this forum tell me better ways to do this, and if any more information is needed to explain in detail on how to do this. I was just given this link and it worked for a set of pictures. I do not have any stock or own this service so again, use at your own risk.
Just use the example that SRX660 posted above.

This is a compilation of post on different threads. I put it here so members can see the good, bad, and ugly of all we have tried using.

Thanks James. I have been reading a lot of "Terms of Service" (ToS) on many hosting sites. Even Google Drive has a ToS that is not, on a whole, user friendly.
Reading the ToS of Google Drive: (SNIPPED)
Your Content in our Services
Some of our Services allow you to upload, submit, store, send or receive content. You retain ownership of any intellectual property rights that you hold in that content. In short, what belongs to you stays yours.
When you upload, submit, store, send or receive content to or through our Services, you give Google (and those we work with) a worldwide license to use, host, store, reproduce, modify, create derivative works (such as those resulting from translations, adaptations or other changes we make so that your content works better with our Services), communicate, publish, publicly perform, publicly display and distribute such content. The rights you grant in this license are for the limited purpose of operating, promoting, and improving our Services, and to develop new ones. This license continues even if you stop using our Services (for example, for a business listing you have added to Google Maps). Some Services may offer you ways to access and remove content that has been provided to that Service. Also, in some of our Services, there are terms or settings that narrow the scope of our use of the content submitted in those Services. Make sure you have the necessary rights to grant us this license for any content that you submit to our Services.
Our automated systems analyze your content (including emails) to provide you personally relevant product features, such as customized search results, tailored advertising, and spam and malware detection. This analysis occurs as the content is sent, received, and when it is stored.
If you have a Google Account, we may display your Profile name, Profile photo, and actions you take on Google or on third-party applications connected to your Google Account (such as +1’s, reviews you write and comments you post) in our Services, including displaying in ads and other commercial contexts. We will respect the choices you make to limit sharing or visibility settings in your Google Account. For example, you can choose your settings so your name and photo do not appear in an ad.
You can find more information about how Google uses and stores content in the privacy policy or additional terms for particular Services. If you submit feedback or suggestions about our Services, we may use your feedback or suggestions without obligation to you.
So LOOSELY reading into this, Google can use your pictures anytime for advertising GOOGLE's services even if you decide to stop using Googles services. It most likely may not happen but you agree to allow that to happen. My main point of this is
Don't ASSUME, READ THE ToS's and be aware. ____________________________________________________

Trying out Imgsafe now, as Imgur is a bit hard to arrange folder in.
i.imgsafe.org/e8/e8f470d6f5.jpeg
imgsafe.org/my-images
We will see how this does on this forum.
Well it seems imgsafe does not do folders. And limits pic's to 20 per page. So i guess i need to add the page number if you want to see specific trikes on the site.

I thought the new Free Imgsafe photo storage website would be a godsend to this forum. After using it for a few months i no longer think i will use it. The reasons are because of a few things it should be able to do but it is not capable of doing.
1. When i tried loading about 30 resized pictures it loaded them but would not load any more when i resized some more and tried dragging then into Imgsafe.
2. Even tho they say you can delete any of the pictures i have not been able to find any way of doing this.
3. You cannot make albums where only certain pictures are kept. It's just one big collage with no way to have a order to them.
4 No way to move pictures on one subject together for easier access.
So, now i am looking for another image storage place where i can have albums, be able to delete pic's, and no limits on uploads.
Also imgsafe does not let you have folders and limits pic's to 20 per page. So i guess you need to add the page number if you want to see specific trikes on the site. ______________________________

It may have some issues for doing a large production job like what you and I have been doing behind the scenes here, for a builder doing a Build Thread it may be OK.
But I also have been looking for a free or a very low cost option for all members to host their photos and videos on. We do not have any way to host a Video on site. _____________________________________

With Imsafe I am unable upload full sized pictures as it results in an "Object, Object" message. Resized smaller ok.
It seems most of the requirements you are looking for could be available at Pinterest. One problem I have there though is I cannot get RTH and Pinterest pages up on the same screen to click and drag. I have to copy and paste the URL. The reader of the post sees no picture at all without clicking on the link.
Post by srx660 on Aug 12, 2018 at 11:50am Well, it looks like Google Photos is NOT good for a forum. They will only let me share a photo with people in my google friends list. I'll keep looking to see if i can post to a forum but right now it won't let me see the location of the image.

But, like you said, i can't drag and drop and you have to use a URL code to add a pic to the forum. So i have kinda discarded Pinterest as a good source to get pictures from. _______________________________________ Post by srx660 on Sep 6, 2018 at 3:53pm

As of 8-30 i have started using "Image Shack" to post pictures to the forums. I have paid the $40 for a year. I do have some reservations as there are some complaints about Image shack doing the same thing that "PhotoBucket" was doing. That is locking you out of the pictures until you pay a fee to host your pictures. We shall see if this happens to me. I will host any members pictures on my image shack site. I will make the member his own album and give him access to that album so he can post his pictures from his computer.
So far i am happy using Image Shack to host my pictures. I have 15 folders and close to a 1000 pictures with no problems. One glitch is i still need to post pictures one by one to Image shack. If i post more than one at a time i get a list of links for the pictures and it is too hard for me to keep track(switching between sites in the browser)of each link. Image Shack won't let me use the name of each picture i used. Instead they have their own naming system.
