while i was going thru some of the threads i noticed that many members have never posted anything to the forums. While it is nice to think we have lots of members that is false. So now i am deleting the members names off the forum if they are not active. Many members made a few posts and then have not posted for 3 years or more. These posts will also be deleted. If you find that you are no longer a member here when you come back please just reregister your name(or a different name if yours has been taken)and you will be a member again. Also, please register at our new forum at reversetrikes.freeforums.net/ . All guests can view the threads on the forums so you really don't have to register to gain the information you are seeking. I am doing this because it shows we have 555 members but maybe 20 are posting on any given week. It has taken me 16 hours to drop the member count down to 495. This takes too much time to do this as i think we will have less than 200 members when i get finished. I really don't want to spend weeks working on this small aspect of the forum but other than DaveJ and I there are no one else that wants to help us. I have been here 10 years and DaveJ has been here 6 years. We do this because we love the idea of RT's, we don't get paid for it. I wish we could find others that would help us keep this forum up to date, cleaned up and moderated. OK, rants over, have a Happy RT day. srx660

I would like to help out with the transition to the new forum, and be willing to donate several hours a week. Just a side note, Facebook groups is another free alturnative for a forum with no limitations on posting pictures, not sure if you guys looked into it as a no hassle platform. Let me me know what you think!

I have been looking at Facebook's "Reverse Trike Owners and Builders" page. But Facebook does have some small issues unique to itself. 2rike is a moderator over there.
The problem of Facebook is build posts just pile on top of older posts with someone else's build on top of yours. With a structured Forum we can have demising lines for threads where you post on your thread and it is kept in chronological order.

I agree Dave, I did not realize that. The only way I could thing to do that is to creat a new Facebook Group say Reverse Trike and then if possible each builder creates a Facebook page called "Reverse Trike your name" that is automaticly linked to the main group. It would have to show up on the main group each time and individual updates as a link to click on.
A second alturnative is to see if Facebook could just be the hosting site for unlimited pictures. I don't know if any of this is feasible, but just trying to brainstorm ideas outside the box. Either way just direct me in any way I could help!

Thanks for the nice compliments!! I wish I could offer more help on the forum, but I am limited in my automotive knowledge, but not my automotive enthusiasm.
