I will be designing the frame soon for a low speed engine (150cc-250cc), I want the track to be about 50" and 8' length, dang my garage size. Harley fat tire swing arm, 20"x8" tires up front and 24x10 in the rear? Please let me know what you think??? OR maybe this one? OR, let the 2 breed?

I will be watching this build. How does the handelbar steering shaft connect to the tie rods?
But in Washington State the use of ATV parts is frowned on and I must supply the VIN form a donor car for the suspension parts.

Hi Dave you are more than welcome to follow my project along, when dealing with the DMV and ATV parts, I am not going to use the QUAD frame, only take dimensions of it to build my own, The ATV frame is about, 1"dia. and .060 wall, NOT to my liking so mine will be 1.25 dia. and .120 wall. I will be looking for a smaller Honda engine (250cc) because of the quad a-arms. here is something you might not know: I wanted 18" DOT wheels up front 18x8-8 and I have 8x8 rims so when I put the tires on they are only 17"high, BUT flat so if I was to use 7" wide rims they would be 18"high BUT rounded top... sounds kinda crazy but when you think about it, it makes since??? The steering is like go cart, will be OK for non freeway speeds. Please INPUT at any time...

The rear swingarm coil over shock appears to be in a pull position instead of compression?

More tack welding to make sure of alignment for lower frame. Trying to keep it flat for welding. Any ideas?

I am working on a small RT as well (150GY6 to start), I think asking a 150 to 250 to move along those size wheels will be a bit much.... I may be wrong, good luck. ready to see some more pics.
thanks

Now to add the jack shaft? Let's see? Coil-over, push rod, jack shaft, Ohhh and the seat goes in this area... dang! Guess it's not time for the mock-up of dual coil-overs up front, horizontally, Back to the drawing board...
