Is anyone familiar with these plans? www.facebook.com/RTbuildingplanRTrike and they are for sale by abel209@gmail.com I have been unable to find any information on them other then his facebook page. Without knowing more about the quality I'm skeptical.

Don't know anything about them. But looking on that Facebook page, the front frame looks OK. But with Facebook, I can make up 25 profiles and my friends can too. Then we friend each one of them and they friend me and then others will join in and soon you have over 100 friends. I do not trust anything or anyone on Facebook. Too easy to spoof or fake accounts and then troll others.

Last 35 years San Antonio Texas. So nobody else has any input on these plans ? Well Dave, against our better judgment,I might just take a chance on them. I like the basic design. I'm not needing detailed plans as I have always Had a "better" idea of how things should be done.some times those better ideas actually work😃. If I order them I'll keep you posted on what I receive and think of them.

I went ahead and ordered a set. Have only given them a cusery looking over but do look promising. They do not go into detail as to as to how to proceed with it as some designs do. Just straight forward "blue prints". Everything appears to be covered. I may go ahead and build one using them, I will more then likely make the minor personal changes that everybody needs to do.

I bought a set of Xzilarator plans years ago and keep going back to them from time to time. Interesting is the plans do not call for roller bending any tubing. Just use a hand operated tubing bender to build the frame. My only concern was the large size of the trike so i just filed the plans away for safe keeping. I guess the xzilarator website has disappeared so no more plans are being sold. update: The xzilarator plans are still for sale. Perhaps someone bought the rights to the plans. I sure hope they have added more details on building. Now that i have looked at the plans i have, all it has is basic details on tubing sizes and cutting size's to build the frame. www.prismz.com/xzilarator/srx660

I bought a set of Xzilarator plans from a member on here. It is a big trike but with a Goldwing engine being so long by itself that is understandable. I will be modifying the front suspension to use Chrysler Stratus double A arms.
But I am waiting to see how FatherChuck's plans work out.

Finally got around to looking over the plans. A least 60;pages of diagrams, drawings and info. Everything seems pretty straight forward and Dimensions listed. The main frame is laid out in detail and appears to be well thought out and solid. There is a section of the plans describing the construction of a frame building jig even. Handy if you and a buddy are going to each build one. The plans go into detail showing the construction of the steering system, pedal assembly, shifter lever and linkage, and complete swing arm to include hub and axle assembly. I have a 19 year old that is wanting to give it a try. No previous building experience. I believe he should have no problem doing so. I will keep an eye over his shoulder though. I will have him use a bike frame to ease the licensing. And I believe use a Vw beam front suspension to make it a little more simple for him. And it should give him a better chance of not getting overwhelmed and lose interest.
