I know this is a car project, and these guys are very good at fabrication, but i think every person that visits this forum should watch what they do to build a turbocharged toyota drivetrain Austin Mini. The sheer patience they had to have to attempt this may either stop you or make you want to get started on your own project. I may never finish my idea of a subaru powered RT but i am attempting to try anyway. The 2 little mini RT's i have built has only whet my appetite. I sold these trikes soon after getting them running. A computer hard crash 7 years ago left me with no photos of all my car , motorcycle, and trike projects(i now back everything up Monthly). So, watch these youtube videos and decide for yourself. Thanks to Treevee72 on the 3wheeler replica's yahoo forum for the link. www.youtube.com/watch?v=7hCPODjJO7s&feature=youtu.beSRX660

On Episode #3 right now. Can you imagine if Nik has a plasma cutter and a air hammer/chisel set?
Warning!!! Lots of grinder disks were injured during this filming!
This is real good filming. We did this level of fabrication on a Porsche 914 when we took two wrecked 914's and a wrecked Subaru WRX and married them. A W9R1X4 is one fast 914.

What a great set of videos that prove you dont need a lot of tools just good planning and a methodical approach. I am hooked and I am on episode 5 all ready!
