One day. Lots of people are waiting. Venture Capital investment of $1000 for a $500 return with 0% guaranty is hard for some to do.

They've burned thru SO much money while producing almost nothing, this's the Corbin Merlin (I lost a thousand in that one) but on a much bigger scale. With maybe the exception of Paul Elio, no one there is truly incentivized to make the company succeed - they're allready being well paid to participate in an MBA exercise. The millions wasted will just show as a plus, millions managed, on their resume as they go for their next title at a company selling whatever, it doesn't matter.
I'm convinced the companies that will put trikes on the road are small kit manufacturers. And not the current $50k toy roadsters, either, which is probably a safer turn-key business. I want an enclosed single or tandem in the 400-850cc range, for which we'll have to pay a premium like $15-25k. Something like that would be enough to feed our niche and develops designs that prove the market, spurring an existing major manufacturer to sweep in. That's the only path to widely available trikes that makes sense to me.

The three people I know that invested with Eleo are still disillusioned. They still think they will get their trike soon. One friend told me to "SHUT THE F*%@ UP" when I was pointing out that no one can build a trike for $6,800. That same person has bought his way up the list to the tune of over $2,000 now. Toilet paper has better use.
The only Corbin I would like to get would be a Sparrow II. I would convert it to a 130V AC Warp 9 motor, or much higher volts, all Lithium 250 A/hr batteries.

Getting the cheapest frame kit($4600), using a used doner bike($350) all the extra items like lights, wiring, nuts and bolts, The cheapest I could build a trike came to about $14,000 when done.
So YES give Eleo $1,500 up front and $5,300 on delivery sounds like a Bargain of a deal, in 2009. "It's just been a slow week, so hold on and you'll get yours soon."
It is said investors have given $102,000,000.00, Yes that is $102 Million. But their stock is at $6.35 Fridays close, up $0.40 a share.
