Just curious, why the C4? seems heavy and overbuilt for an RT

Yeah, will look great. Been done, see Veloce3 U-Tube. A bit overkill size wise but may be lighter than Mustang II.

Welcome from someone farther west than Idaho. C4 and C5 parts are widely available on Ebag. Yes they are lighter than OEM MII but the rotors are about 200% overkill. Just follow all setups for the inner mounting points and it should be fine. On the brakes, run a good adjustable porportional valve and a small diameter master cylinder for more pedal travel.
With real wide and sticky front tires, you do not need to over brake or the STOPPIE may put you on the top real quick.

Thank you for you input, At this point I have more questions than answers and I am grateful to have found this site!
I have decided to keep my build as simple as possible and to use the stock GL1500 swing arm/rear wheel. I would love your input as to what is the largest size auto tire that will fit the swing arm.
Thank you in advance.

Steveo, you are welcome to ask any and all questions. The answers are free so you pay for what ya get. This forum is a bit slower than most. A few members are on here daily, others never. Try not to get too impatient when posting a question, at times it may take a day or two for a member to visit and answer. I am good at welding and wiring but not so well with plumbing so any questions on those topics, ask away. On the Goldwing tire size question you may ask over on one of the wing sites too. On the earlier wings there were no car tires that fit. I have been on a car tire on my TWO wheel Suzuki 650 Burgman scooter for 4 years now with NO problems. A few wings have gone to the Darkside too so do a search on the wing sites for Darkside and you may find a lot more than you wanted, mostly negative comments. Just weed thru the BS and you will find the answer I am sure.
