We are in the process of inviting people to take part in discussing everything that has to do with reverse trikes, and whatever else this community decides to talk about. Feel free to register and become part of our community. All that we ask is that people remain respectful of one another, and do their best to reciprocate any help they've recieved. Otherwise, have fun, and good luck with your RT projects!

Happy to see the forum. I look forward to David's posts all the time and the information is great, but I found the yahoo format annoying.
Look forward to reading the posts.

Yeah -- this forum would not even be happening right now were it not for David. He took the time to listen to my idea, and give me helpful suggestions.

I am really glad to see this new forum and hope it succeeds. I am a member of all the reverse trike forums on the internet that I have been able to find. Good luck with this new endeavor.

I love the new Forum!!!
HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE!!! ;D
I respect David's yahoo site but found the way threads were displayed very confusing and cumbersome...thank you David for allowing 3verse to create another source of viable information.
My favorite part is the instant posting response. ;D

I am in the process of planning a rt w/ maybe a diesel 3 cyl kubota maybe. My immediate concern is the front end . No junk, stuff that can be sold or replicated. How about some racing stuff. KISS ( keep.........)2 cyl gas seems to be a good plant. What about rotary? Alcohol for sure because you can make it yourself Thanks Scooter

You can have a 12 tooth sprocket made to fit on a car's starter and another sprocket mated to a 8 inch lawn tractor wheel. Make a lever, linkage rods and a hinge with a starter button. When you pull the lever, the wheel would rotate down on the hinge under the trike and after it makes solid contact with the road hit the starter's button. Or build it above the rear tire, pull the lever and the tire rotates down onto the rear tire and hit the starter button.

Ha! Don't be shy , tell us what you really think. Seriously, I believe this thread is an appropriate place to express strong opinions. I'd like to see more of this on the forum. Constructive critical comments (not being nasty) can add a lot of traffic, info and color to the forum. I think a lot of the guys are just to polite to chime in and tell us what's on their mind.
Conversely, I may have employed a wee bit too much unnecessary sarcasm in comments on on the builds of Captain America and Mtntech. The builds of these guys and others like Kolibri are the life blood of the forum. They make checking in every now and then worth the effort. Thanks guys.

Do you have a name for what you call your 2F 1R wheeled vehicle? I have a JZR (Morgan look a like kit) and I am not offended by the term "reverse trike". When the word trike is mentioned, I think most people think of a VW powered home built contraption. Most people think my car is a real Morgan, but I always tell them that it is a Honda CX650 powered kit that closely resembles a Morgan. When I found this site, I was looking for as many "reverse trike" forums as I could to get information. There are specific forums, JZR, BRA, etc. There is also a Three Wheeled forum on Yahoo groups, but to my knowledge, they are all "reverse trikes".

Agree z06lite. I think the term "reverse trike" came about because the general public thinks 1fr 2r when the word "trike" is mentioned because those are more common. Calling 2fr 1r a reverse trike immediately puts the correct image in mind. Nothing offensive about it.

I have heard and used the name Reverse Trike from the 60's, yes the 1960s. If anyone said trike, a Harley of Indian three wheeler in the 1F-2R came to mind. But if anyone was talking and said reverse trike then everyone thought about a Morgan type 2F-1R.
Wish I had a picture of the reverse trike one of our hotrod VW shops had as a delivery truck. It had a chromed out Porsche 914/6 engine up front with VW Rabbit (GTI) struts and custom axles. They also made "NORMAL" 1F-2R trikes for customers.
I found this site by googling Reverse Trike.

Hi everyone, not sure if this is the right place to put my first post. Anyone on here around Vermont or New England? I'm currently the owner of a Polaris Slingshot. The only thing stock on it is the frame. LOL, I would really like to build a G2 VTR-S kit, but don't know much mechanics. Looks like a bunch of great people here

I could, and tried, but I need to figure out how to change the size of the pics. Thanks for the welcome. Hope to learn a lot, I need it!
