It's about time Myers updated their blob looking NMG. The new one still looks much better, but they still insist in having the cyclops look with the headlights. So would anyone buy one Now? I wonder if you could convert it to gas or diesel power(provided you can buy just body and suspension)? Any Comments? SRX660

Some states require center mounted headlamps for motorcycles. If you want to build a 50 state machine you have to account for all the oddities.
No, I wouldn't buy one.

I'm not a big fan of photo-sharing sites and this is why -- Pics are gone! Going to their website though, I see they got a 2-person Sparrow! It's cute enough, but two observations: 1) it's electric -- for 99% of the people out there this just isn't going to serve their needs. 2) they area expensive. If the deliver them for $25K -- that would be $10K cheaper than they were doing the single-seater, so my guess is that the price will go up.
So, I'm with 3verse -- I'd buy a diesel, or even a gas, but I'm not going to commit my capital to unproven technologies nor technologies that aren't nearly mature enough.

The sparrow has always been over priced in my opinion. This new body looks a lot better, but still for 25K you can buy a lot more car that gets pretty good gas mileage and more comfort, and if you look at a used say Prius, no competition IMO.

I think the design is good, price not so much...it would be nice to just buy the shell and build my own chassis...a very nice looking modern style.
