Brought back memories for me. As a boy I can remember these were still quite common during the late 50's. I was from Leicester and they were made in Coventry in the UK about 45 miles away. It would be nice to get a hold of one of those rear shaft to sprocket gearboxes.

It would be nice to get a hold of one of those rear shaft to sprocket gearboxes. Mike You could have a machine shop make chain sprockets to mount on an old Jag, Corvette or Borgward IRS rear where the shafts would have bolted on.
